(창7:1,4) 여호와께서 노아에게 이르시되 너와 네 온 집은 방주로 들어가라 이 세대에서 네가 내 앞에 의로움을 내가 보았음이니라/ 지금부터 칠 일이면 내가 사십 주야를 땅에 비를 내려 내가 지은 모든 생물을 지면에서 쓸어버리리라 The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation./ Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made."

(행9:17) 아나니아가 떠나 그 집에 들어가서 그에게 안수하여 가로되 형제 사울아 주 곧 네가 오는 길에서 나타나시던 예수께서 나를 보내어 너로 다시 보게 하시고 성령으로 충만하게 하신다 하니 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord--Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here--has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

(눅24:46~48) 또 이르시되 이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제 삼 일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것과/  또 그의 이름으로 죄 사함을 얻게 하는 회개가 예루살렘으로부터 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이 기록되었으니/ 너희는 이 모든 일의 증인이라 He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,/ and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem./ You are witnesses of these things.

(요19:30) 예수께서 신 포도주를 받으신 후에 이르시되 다 이루었다 하시고 머리를 숙이니 영혼이 떠나가시니라 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

(눅22:42,43) 이르시되 아버지여 만일 아버지의 뜻이거든 이 잔을 내게서 옮기시옵소서 그러나 내 원대로 마시옵고 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다 하시니/ 천사가 하늘로부터 예수께 나타나 힘을 더하더라 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."/ An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.

(고후1:20) 하나님의 약속은 얼마든지 그리스도 안에서 예가 되니 그런 즉 그로 말미암아 우리가 아멘 하여 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 되느니라 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.

(딤후3:16,17) 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니/ 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

(요1:46) 나다나엘이 이르되 나사렛에서 무슨 선한 것이 날 수 있느냐 빌립이 이르되 와서 보라 하니라 "Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?" Nathanael asked. "Come and see," said Philip.

(수1:8) 이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 가운데 기록한대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이라 네가 형통하리라 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

(삼상17:45) 다윗이 블레셋 사람에게 이르되 너는 칼과 창과 단창으로 내게 나아 오거니와 나는 만군의 여호와의 이름 곧 네가 모욕하는 이스라엘 군대의 하나님의 이름으로 네게 나아가노라 David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
